Emergency First Aid at Work

1 Day Course

This is a nationally accredited and certificated course, ideal for any person wishing to understand more about first aid and the action to take in an emergency. It will equip individuals with emergency first aid skills. Participants will gain all the background knowledge you will need to take charge in a first aid emergency in the workplace.

Assessment is on-going throughout the course by the instructor, and a three year certificate will be issued to those that meet the criteria. The FAIB (First Aid Industry Body) and the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) strongly recommends that first aiders undergo an Annual Refresher Course to maintain their skills and keep up to date with any changes to first aid legislation and procedures. Although it is not mandatory, it was felt that a three year period was too long without any additional training.
